Getting the most out of YasKeeper
How to put YasKeeper on your phone's home screen, turn on alerts, and find your way around — in a few minutes.
What's in the app
Four things, all scoped to your own villa unless noted otherwise.
Maintenance
Set reminders for anything on a schedule — AC servicing, pest control, pool chemicals — and log each visit: who came, what it cost, any notes for next time.
Vendors
A directory shared by everyone in your community. Search by trade, see who else has used a vendor, and add your own recommendation for others to find.
Calendar
Upcoming reminders and logged visits in one view, so you can see what's due this month at a glance.
Account
Your development, villa number, and phone — used to keep your maintenance records private to your own household. You can also delete your account from here.
Add YasKeeper to your Home Screen
Installing it opens YasKeeper like a normal app — full screen, its own icon, no browser address bar. It also has to be installed this way before notifications will work on an iPhone (see below).
iPhone / iPad (Safari)
- Open yaskeeper.tirin.app in Safari (not Chrome — iOS only allows installing from Safari).
- Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing up), in the bottom toolbar.
- Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen".
- Tap "Add" in the top right.
A YasKeeper icon now sits on your home screen, alongside your other apps.
Android (Chrome)
- Open yaskeeper.tirin.app in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu in the top right.
- Tap "Add to Home screen" (or "Install app" if Chrome offers it directly).
- Confirm by tapping "Add" / "Install".
Turn on notifications
Once signed in, look for the bell icon in the top bar and tap it. Your phone will ask permission once — allow it, and YasKeeper can alert you directly, without waiting on email.
Common questions
I turned notifications on, but I'm not getting them.
Confirm you enabled them from the installed Home Screen app, not a browser tab (iPhone requires this — see above). Then check your phone's system settings: Settings > YasKeeper > Notifications should be allowed. If you recently reinstalled the app or got a new phone, tap the bell icon again to re-enable — your old subscription doesn't carry over.
How do I sign in?
With Google only — tap 'Sign in with Google' on the login page. There's no separate YasKeeper password to remember or lose.
I just signed up — why can't I do anything yet?
New accounts wait for a community administrator to approve them, so the directory stays limited to actual residents. You'll get an email the moment you're approved.
Can I change my development or villa number later?
Not yourself — it's what decides which household's records you see, so it can't be self-served. If you've moved villa or it was entered wrong, use the Contact form to ask an admin to update it.
Something's not working, or I have a suggestion.
Use the Contact form — it reaches the person who built the app directly.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Account and scroll to "Delete my account" near the bottom. It removes your name, email, and phone number immediately and signs you out — this can't be undone. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what stays and what goes, including what happens to your household's maintenance history.
